Good Bye 2025
Annual Summary

Good Bye 2025!

Looking back at 2025, it was the calmest year on our price lists: from the first list in February to the one in late October, every single product quote held completely unchanged.

1) Eleven price lists, one set of numbers. Speckled kidney beans stayed at USD 7.62 at Aden from the first list to the last — and so did every other product, at every port.

2) The calm broke in November: Umm Qasr stepped down from 7.26 to 6.38 (−12.1%), Jeddah from 7.57 to 6.25 (−17.4%) and Ashdod from 7.36 to 6.85 (−6.9%), while Aden, Jebel Ali and Riyadh barely moved.

3) Compared with the close of 2024, the 2025 lists opened 1–9% cheaper across the range — canned beans settled back to a more comfortable level for buyers.

4) Behind the flat prices the catalogue kept growing: white, red and yellow miso, pickled garlic, chopped ginger and a whole shelf of new sauces joined the line-up during the year.

HELLO 2026

HELLO 2026!!

1) 2026 has already opened differently: the January 18 list lifted quotes at Aden — chick peas +16.6%, broad beans +15.2%, green peas +13.0% over the close of 2025.

2) We will watch whether the higher levels hold, and keep the lists updated just as often.

3) More new products are ready to move from the sampling table onto full pages.

4) Finally, I wish everyone a happy 2026.

GOOD BYE 2025! HELLO 2026!!
